There’s an interesting cross-section of the current collector-car market on offer at Motostalgia’s Amelia Island 2016 sale. Firstly, there are established classics such as the Ferrari 330 GT or Alpine A 110. Secondly, there are many popular modern classics, such as the first BMW M6 and the Porsche 993 Turbo. And thirdly, there are the ultra-rare, special edition cars that have become the darlings of the auction world (particularly in America) – think Ferrari 599 GTO and SA Aperta, or the coveted Land Rover Defender Heritage Edition.
